Montrose Lodge is one of our largest lodges with private, sheltered hot tub and sauna. This spacious lodge is ideal for families or smaller groups. With 3 bedrooms and 2 living areas, Montrose Lodge comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests (6 adults and 2 children).

On the ground floor there is an open plan lounge, dining area and fitted kitchen with range of appliances, a double bedroom with king-size bed, a twin bedroom and a bathroom.  

Upstairs features an additional sitting room with a sofa bed, a balcony offering views of the surrounding countryside,  a sauna, a further shower room, and a king-size double bedroom.

French doors lead to a sheltered deck with dining furniture, fairy lights, BBQ, and a private, sheltered hot tub.

Check-in is normally 4pm and check-out is 10am Monday – Saturday. We are happy to offer a 12 o’clock noon checkout on Sunday.

Please get in touch if you would prefer a change to these times as we try to be as flexible as possible to accommodate your requirements.

There is space for at least two vehicles at each lodge and four at Oakwoods House.

If you and your guests are planning on bringing more than two vehicles to your lodge please advise us in advance. The grounds are spacious and this simply ensures we arrange things to ensure you have the space expected on arrival.

Absolutely. We welcome pets in three of our lodges and one of our pods. The lodges are Ben Lomond, Montrose and Inchmurrin which are all three-bedroom lodges and the Wee Oak Tree Pod.

We have an electric gate at the entrance and expansive grounds for you and your pets to explore. Our grounds border surrounding fields and countryside where some peaceful walking routes are easily accessible.

There is a limit of two dogs per lodge and one small dog in the pod and all we ask is that you respect the peace and privacy of other guests.

We provide a small pet welcome pack comprising of a bowl and towel.

All of our lodges and pods have charcoal BBQs next to outdoor furniture. Our Wee Secret Apartment has an electric BBQ. Utensils are provided, however, we do not supply charcoal, firelighters or matches.

There is a train station in Balloch with frequent rail services to Glasgow and further afield. We are located 6.5 miles (10.5 km) from Balloch and easy to reach via taxi or bus service. Please see our “Location” page for further information on transport to and from Lomond Luxury Lodges.

The 309 bus service by McColls runs from Balloch to Balmaha, passing the front of Lomond Luxury Lodges. The bus operates a ‘hail and ride’ service meaning it will pick-up and drop off at the gates of the lodges providing you hold out your hand. It is a quick and efficient way to reach Balloch, Balmaha or Drymen.

The hot-tubs and spa bath are set to power off at 11pm and come back on at 7am. This is simply to respect other guests as while the pumps and motors that operate these are generally very quiet there is often increased volume levels from conversation while using these.

The hot-tubs will remain hot for many hours and the spa bath will still function as a bath out-with these times and if you do use them please be respectful of other guests and we expect them to be respectful to you.

Please leave your property in a similar condition of cleanliness as it was in when you arrived. Please ensure all doors are locked and all rubbish and food items removed. Please place any dirty dishes into the dishwasher and leave this on a wash cycle when you leave.

Please turn off all lights, lock all doors and windows and deposit the main key in the key-drop box attached to the front of the small reception pod next to the main gate.
